About Me

Hi, I am Belinda

Like many people, I have taken a few different paths in life before finding what truly feels like my calling—supporting others in finding more balance, calm, and clarity in their lives.

I have tapped into many disciplines ranging from various office positions, including work within Social Services and the NHS, changing track to becoming a Fitness Trainer, Complementary Health Therapist and Yoga Teacher.

I first trained as a Meditation and Hatha Yoga Teacher in 2006, and the benefits I experienced were so profound that they changed the direction of my life. Over time, this naturally led me into Counselling and Hypnotherapy, allowing me to support people, on all levels of their being, so physically (one may consider yoga to be this part, albeit, it is much more), emotionally, mentally and spiritually as well.

Today, I bring all of these approaches together to offer an holistic way of supporting your wellbeing—helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

My Approach

I believe that we all have an innate ability to heal and grow, sometimes we just need the right space and support to access it.

My work is grounded in empathy, understanding, and respect for your individual experience. I offer a calm, safe, confidential, empathetic and non-judgemental environment where you can openly explore whatever is going on for you.

As an integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Hypnotherapist, I draw upon a range of theories and approaches to aid my work. I equally draw upon other therapeutic techniques or approaches, including NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EFT/EFT Matrix (Emotional Freedom Technique/Matrix Reimprinting), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming), and IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy).

This allows me to tailor our work together in a way that best supports your needs.

Yoga & “Pavana”

Alongside my therapy work, yoga remains an important part of my life and what I offer.  As part of my journey, I now offer calming and restorative Sound Bath Journeys.

My yoga name, Pavana, comes from the old language of Sanskrit.  Pavana means “to develop, something that purifies, breeze or air.  It represents the divine air or breeze that takes the form of life in every individual.”

For me, it reflects what yoga can offer—a chance to pause, and breathe, or a chance to revitalise or reset my energy, and gently return to a point of balance, a calm, and relaxed sense of “self”.
